WELCOME to my page!!!

I’m very excited to finally be doing something to advance my acting career… a definite passion.
I got involved in acting about 1970 when I was helping my church with a play they were doing as a fund raiser. I ordered tickets, refreshments, did a journal, stage managed…you name it. A couple years later they were doing another play and the director, my good friend the late Bill Eisengrein, asked me to take a part. My response was… “I couldn’t do that”. Well long story short, I did! And I was “bitten’ by the acting bug. My first role was as Edna Edison in Neil Simon’s “Prisoner of 2nd Avenue”….still one of my favorite shows. Many great roles with The Parish Players followed. After Bill’s early demise, Marie Dion-Graziano stepped in as director. Marie, having a Fine Arts degree, became my coach and mentor. I truly benefitted from her expertise. After The Parish Players were disbanded, I worked with other Island groups off and on, in between raising children and working. After my retirement from banking, I devoted more time to Community Theatre. Quality Community Theatre! Staten Island has soooo many extremely talented people. I think that’s due in part to the presence of Wagner College, with their outstanding theatre program, as well as our proximity to Manhattan. I have been blessed to work and learn from some of the
best. One day my son Doug, (who also acts), showed me an ad in the paper, “Actors Wanted”. I replied and started doing background/extra work. After a short time I was invited to join the union and I’m now a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. You can see my resume in another section of this page. You’ll see, I did a student film, directed by the up-and-coming Serena Dykman. (Remember her name; you’ll see she’ll go very far in the industry.) Also, I portrayed Dottie Sandusky, (opposite Jim Johnson as Jerry Sandusky), in the HBO movie “Paterno”, starring Al Pacino and directed by Barry Levison…WOO HOO!!! I look forward to doing more new and exciting things! Finally, thanks to Mila Milosevic, actress, singer, improviser, model and web designer, for putting together this page.
